JUDI AND KEVIN

I absolutely loved my quest for the perfect wedding dress, from starting the adventure to the culmination on the big day itself. The moment I walked into Luella's and was taken into the most gorgeous boudoir, I felt completely relaxed and pampered by the wonderful Luella's team. My bridesmaid and I giggled with delight at being treated with champagne and macaroons before turning our attention to the important matter in hand - the dresses! The (soon-to-become mine) Vicky Rowe Rebecca gown stood out amongst the array of beautiful options and perfectly matched the elegant, vintage 20's style I was searching for. It was love at first sight!
Our wedding on 1st May was held at Kew Gardens and everything was perfect - including the weather, which turned warm and sunny after a cold week featuring late April snow (phew) The sky was a clear, crisp blue, the flowers bloomed brightly and everyone wore beaming smiles the whole day long. And as for my dress, it was just stunning - flowing, graceful and with just the right amount of sparkle. I had so many compliments I lost count, with everyone intrigued to find out who the designer was. It made me feel as if I was in an enchanted dream-world as I floated down the aisle of the Nash Conservatory at Kew. Kevin (Havelock), my husband, was completely blown away and adored my Rebecca every bit as much as I did. He couldn't get over how much it fitted the mental image he had had of what I would choose - I guess that's a very good sign :)
