Luella's Bridal London

Posted on 07 September 2016

Glenn and I got married July 11 in the Norman Chapel at Farnham Castle and the wedding breakfast and celebrations were at the Farnham Castle.

The dress I chose was Gwendolynne Tara.

I found Luella’s randomly online and after finding a dress I really liked, I sent them an email to ask about prices and a time for trial. It turned out the dress I initially liked was above my budget, but they were so helpful to send me a list of dresses that would fit my budget. The dress I did end up with was actually picked out by the staff at my trial; she said it would look absolutely amazing on and that it was such a special dress. I agreed on trying it on and fell in love immediately. I had not heard of the designer, Gwendolynne, but did some searching afterwards, and realised that the designer and her style was spot on to my idea of my wedding dress and day.

I immediately felt when entering Luella’s that I would find my dress here. The kind of dresses they have and the styles are absolutely amazing and it was such a relief after visiting several other stores that were just not right for me. I wanted something a bit special and that would stand out to be elegant and slightly vintage.

The staff were so helpful and friendly and made me feel at ease every time I was there.

My dress needed some alterations, and I would like to give my sincere thanks to Charlotte and Sewn Right who were so helpful with suggesting alterations and helping to make sure the dress in the end looked like it was just made for me. I highly recommend her!

On the day I felt like a million dollars in this dress and I got so many incredible compliments specifically for the dress and its uniqueness and elegance. Yes, any bride probably does, but I’m betting that this was slightly over the top :)
