I'd fallen in love with a Limor Rosen dress I'd seen in a magazine which Luella's didn't have but ordered in especially for me to try. Turns out it wasn't the one but there were plenty of equally gorgeous alternatives in Luella's. I couldn't make up my mind between two dresses so Philippa suggested I come back in a couple of days and re-try, that was really helpful as I'm a bit indecisive and when I came back I was able to try on both dresses (about a gazillion times) and decide.
My mum doesn't live in the UK and flew over for the appointment - going to Luellas felt like a really special occasion for us both to share and it was loads of fun. When I went back for a fitting is was great to be able to try a lot of accessories with the dress and get advice from the girls. It's a really lovely place and it's great to get some genuine advice on what looks good.
We got married in Ireland so inevitably it lashed rain and I mean biblical, coming in sideways guests soaked through type of rain. We had hoped to get married outside and there was a last minute scramble to move all the chairs inside but it really didn't matter we had the best day and I felt great in my dress.
